Clients brief: Carefully take down the former customs shed at Holyhead port. Transport the steelwork to Leominster. Re-fabricate the main sections to convert the former twin span into a modern four span industrial unit. Due to the salt environment the stanchions were heavily corroded. The lower stanchions had to be sawn off and UB extensions/base plates shop welded, together with cleats etc..

All steelwork was thouroghly cleaned primed and re-painted, two coats of darkbrown zinc phosphate. The zed sections were utilized. Steelwork transported and re-erected onto the new site. We installed new insulated roofing, wall cladding and feature plank sections, complete with rainwater goods and doors.
